oh my god, some of the things people have been saying recently are quite ridiculous.. coxswainmofo, you arre clearly from bann.. "i heard that they got the best result an irish crew has ever gotten in that event".. who would know that other than a member of the club themselves? you said "i agree with this whole bann thing, and they are getting a very full of themselves ", clearly you are trying to make it seem you arent from bann but that statement which followed couldnt give it away anymore.. whaaat?!?!?! im not from bann im actually row at CAI and theres alot of bann lads who go to CAI and so thats how i know all the stuff.. and yeah okay, our boat clubs are on the same river so i wish them good luck my apologies.. but i wasn't too far off billy, from your comment (which was a bit harsh), id take a guess that you are from cai or at least raced them in the doubles in athlone...

right....
8s will be bann then portora then bish.
4 will be whoever comes out of heat 2 with portora and bann B from heat 1. doubt anyone from heat 3 will be at the race in the final so based on athlone it looks like bann portora then pres.

Good luck to one and all at the Champs. Some of you will win whilst more will lose, but everyone of you carries the hopes and good wishes of you're Clubs. Be proud of what you do there are no surrender monkeys in a 2k race (unlike English or French football). The people you seek to beat are no different to you they are gathering all round Ireland wondering have I done enough. Race hard then party harder and remember you are the choosen ones!
See you at the Champs

I agree with coach1904. We all come into this the same way and we will all go out the same away. So cut all the BULL and POMPOUS walk we are all Irish folk may the best boats win, but remember my first comment.
Good Luck all this weekend
