Yea but if you look back at the results of pervious seasons it does show that portora do peak at a earlier time, usually around queens, seems strange thought they would have had more in the bag this year with the representations and such a supposed high class coach. Not taking it away from bann and st joes in the 8s did a fantastic job and really showed what they where worth.

Peaking earlier in the season is not an excuse....everyone trains for the champs...to peak in April is rediculous...they just were not good enough at the Champs..Bish were excellent and worthy winners

Final 1: Tribes led Micks 1/2 Length at 1500m, jes well back in 3rd. Micks veered into Tribes lane and tangled with tribes. Both crews stopped dead for a long period of time while Jes passed them to cross the line alone.
Rerow was ordered.
Jes won, Tribes in 2nd, Micks 4th
