does anyone in the rowing community not find it odd that the national governing body is not operating its own rower of the month/rower of the year award through its own website?
the new union website looks great yet afloat seems to be more on the pulse in terms of instant info and tracking of international events.

That is pretty unfair. If you checked the facebook page there were constant updates of how the races were going, even mid race.
The IARU also posted a link to the live race viewer.

does anyone in the rowing community not find it odd that the national governing body is not operating its own rower of the month/rower of the year award through its own website? In short....no. And there are annual awards......they are presented at the AGM.
