Watch out for UCD in 2 weeks, 17 seconds faster than Muckross GRC composite and they were laden with a cox.

Queens A racing at 1200, NUIG racing at 1205, first chance to compare their speed...

Queens come back through Brock to win by 3/4. NUIG lose to Harvard by 2 1/2. Assuming that both Queens and NUIG were both flat out (Queens had to fight, NUIG always chasing so you'd think so) Queens are a couple of lengths quicker than NUIG at least.
Harvard 6:28 so NUIG 6:35ish Queens 6:29

Wind has been swinging around the whole day, don't take anything from the times

haha, don't take anything from the times!? I think we can confidently compare the 2 races as both crews were pushing hard and they were only 5 mins apart! Good to see queens keeping their heads even when brock front ended their race.

Good result for Queens. They are usually fast out of the blocks and to claw back a deficit will do their confidence a power of good. However U.W. are looking very fast as well. Assuming Queens take out Nereus it will be a smoking final to watch.

Anyone know why Queens entered 2 crews in the same event ? Why not enter one 8 in the Ladies and one in the Temple ?

Assuming Queens take out Nereus it will be a smoking final to watch. not sure I will be making that assumption! I suspect Nereus might be the ones to beat in the Temple

From what ive heard from people in henly Nereus are moving very fast. If queens beat them there confidence will grow and huskies will find it hard to beat them.
