Anyone know why Queens entered 2 crews in the same event ? Why not enter one 8 in the Ladies and one in the Temple ? That would be stupid. 1st eight has a good chance of winning the temple but would have no chance in the Ladies. 2nd eight would get smashed in the Ladies. To have two boats from the same university racing in the temple on the Friday is a superb acheivement and looks better than sending one crew out for a hiding or glorious failure in the Ladies Plate.

UCD 9 seconds faster than bristol in the semis. Very good chance of an Irish victory.

Great effort from Queens, good run ended by a good crew. Best of luck to UCD tomorrow, looking like the favourites for that event.

Firstly, well done UCD, has an irish crew ever won that event before?
If they're as good in a 4-(steering basically) as they are in that 4+ then surely there good for the snr 4 come champs!
Will queens use their defeat in the temple as a means to move on and try win snr 8s very convincingly? or will it have an ill-effect on their performance come champs, should be interesting!!
