Anybody have any ideas about who will be winning what this July? I know we haven't seen much in the way of racing this season so far, but where's your money on?

What About Carlow? Both men and women.. all impressive in ghent and metro which are good warm ups for champs.
i think st micks have a strong mens squad however i really dont think that them and carlow will win EVERYTHING in the mens events.. Carlow will win the JM8. Also what about there women?? Arent they strong contenders for junior quads having won at metro? JW2x will be won by Derry with out a doubt and JW1x. Tribes will win the JW4s. Commercial dont seem to have much this year besides there lads in the 8.

my predictions is just based on trials from this year and the fact that st micks have 3 coupe people from last year and the top pair in the country from trials. carlow won ghent so would be favourites in the eights but i wouldnt put it past bish either. carlow were very strong in quads at ghent. the st micks double was favourite to win champs last year but didnt race and so should be favourite for this year. also i wouldnt think its unreasable to put peter hanily as favourite in the sculls. thinking about it again though there is definitly plenty of others to challenge for the fours. champs has been dominated by only a few crews before.

the7mancan, pretty obvious your from st, mics, asking about a micks and bish cimposite, anchorman is talking about either micks or bish for the 8. Also you know that micks have a fast pair, and hanily is from micks aswell. Try not to be as obvious.
Other than that metro results were very interesting in the junior section!!
What do people think??

he's using the slash to indicate Micks or bish, not composite (I would imagine so anyway, cant row composites at junior champs, can you?)
EDIT: put in the word champs to clear up any confusion

I am well aware that they have been racing a composite, I raced them myself, but I'm not sure if they can do so at champs.

So strokeit and rowrowrowurboat since you're both obviously Carlow RC and have refered to the JM8 as Carlow, can we take it that you have 4 new members who must be the only people commuting out of Dublin?
