Certainly both of the mens quads are quite strong, both for coupe and homes. Mens sweep for coupe looks a bit dodge though...

I'd say a lot of people will feel hard done by 5 athletes who went to coupe last year are going to homes. i agree the mens sculling squads look strong but them to coupe fours will get annihilated. this begs the question why aren't o'brein, won junior 4's and stroked the 4- at coupe last year, and mullarkey who got 2 silvers at coupe in the 4+ last year put sweeping at coupe

Just because they went to coupe last year doesn't mean there's new developing faster rowers, if they beat them then would that not imply they're faster?

Is Ward actually going to the Homes after his outburst at the final selection?

Just because they went to coupe last year doesn't mean there's new developing faster rowers, if they beat them then would that not imply they're faster? I believe that the point being made, if you had been keeping up with the discussions taking place over the past few months, is that these 'ex-coupe' rowers were not given the opportunity to race the present squad. Anyone that trialed in a sweep boat was automatically given a coupe seat, without consideration for the rowers who normally sweep but trialed in singles.

And there's also how close the matrices were. Ward had pretty much the same time as skibb . And i think that the girls matrix was just as close so i'd say whichever of Collins and Bennett just missed it is pretty upset too...

What was Ward's outburst? Doesn't seem like the kind of guy to have an outburst
