So what's the story on Irish crews going to Henley this year? UCD won in Met so might look at sending a four maybe for the student fours. There are a few NUIG guys registered as Fermoy again this year, so are they looking at doing a non-student event similar to last year, will they also send a boat for the visitors. Queens to go for the Temple. Are Neptune, Galway, Carlow etc considering it. Anybody got the inside track?

Queens certainly are, can they win the temple i wonder? lets hope so.. probably the same entries as last year for all the crews ya were right with the nuig ones mullarkey, bracken, cooke, jason wall all registered for fermoy aswell except ucd who seem to have broken up the 8 and are now focusing on 4's instead..

Temple: Queens (2 crews) DUBC PA: UCD Thames: Carlow Micks Galway Neptune Wyfold: Thames crews doubling up?
I heard NUIG were considering a ladies plate 8 or not going at all
Thats my guess for Irish entries.
Anyone see Martin Walsh stroke the Oxford/Brookes composite elite 8 ? They were looking powerful, maybe a ladies plate contender

Yeah Pete was subbing in for Sjoerd Hamburger, Queens would be wiser putting the top 4 out of their 2nd 8 into the PA and have them probably make the weekend rather than an early exit in the Temple. Their top 8 should make Sat at least

Mark told me on the tow-path that Queen's are going for the grand challenge cup and he can't see any real competition.
He also said he himself is going for the diamond sculls and nobody has a chance of beating him.
Cocky guy that fellow.

My bet would be Queens to make final of temple, Galway/Muckross make Saturday in visitors and UCD make Saturday in PA. Who are the guys doing the pair? Hope for their sakes they're reasonably fast cause they could have to race the likes of Murray and Bond or Triggs-Hodge and Reed

They are vets so will get dumped out of the 2- qualifiers. The temple is there for the taking this year but I'm afraid Washington are a different class if queens meet them but I would love to eat my words
